Ron S. Geffner quoted in Reuters article "Wall Street still in the hedge fund game"

Ron S. Geffner, Partner and head of the Financial Services Group, was quoted in this article on June 28, 2010 in Reuters. Wall Street banks will be permitted to continue to manage and sponsor hedge funds along with private equity funds with the overhaul of financial regulations. However, under the new bill, the investment firms will face a limit on the amount of money they can put into the funds.
"Until we review the specific language in the bill it is difficult to tell the entirety of the impact on the hedge fund industry," said Ron Geffner. "But I have reserved optimism based on the information about it that is currently available."
