Roger Dowd Lorence

Partner


A member of the firm’s Tax Group, Roger Lorence specializes in the taxation of companies in the financial services industry, international taxation and tax controversies. He is the author of nearly 50 articles on a range of tax issues. Mr. Lorence is a member of the board of advisers of the monthly publication Derivatives Financial Products Report (Warren, Gorham & Lamont), where he contributes a column on hedge funds and related fields. Mr. Lorence has lectured widely on the taxation of hedge funds, derivative financial products, partnerships and international taxation at venues across the U.S. He is the co-chair of the annual Hedge Fund Forum sponsored by the Center for Professional Education.

Prior to joining Sadis & Goldberg in 2007, Mr. Lorence was the head of International Tax at RSM McGladrey Inc.
